This final book in my Only Jesus of Nazareth series is the result of literally thousands of hours of Bible study and interaction with Judaism’s Counter-missionaries. The Counter-missionaries are specially trained to thwart Christian doctrines about the Lord Jesus being Israel’s King Messiah.
I did not write this book in a sterile theological atmosphere, for almost all the material in the book was tested through the “combat” of both public and written debates. Literally, nearly every sentence and use of the Scriptures were tried and retried against every type of argument and thought possible trying to disprove that Jesus of Nazareth is Israel’s King Messiah. Because all the teachings were born in intense fires through debate, the book brings a unique way of looking at the Scriptures.
The heart of this book is Isaiah 53 and Isaiah 9:6,7. Rather than just examining Isaiah 53 separately, I put it in the context of Isaiah’s Four Servant Songs. This approach provides the reader with overwhelming scriptural evidence that Jesus of Nazareth is the God of Israel’s Righteous Servant.
Isaiah 9:6,7 is also looked at in its context: the Day of the LORD, which is yet future. These two verses are prophetic and are the national confession of Israel – that the Lord Jesus is their King Messiah. This national confession will be fulfilled at the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The combination of Isaiah’s Four Servant Songs and Isaiah 9:6,7 provide overwhelming proof that only Jesus of Nazareth can be Israel’s King Messiah. In addition, this book should provide doctrinal grounding for those that feel unstable in the faith. It should answer many questions.
I wrote the book with a certain style. The object was to bring as many verses as possible to bear on one issue to show with overwhelming evidence the truth of the doctrine and to dispel any doubt in the reader’s mind. Actually, the book is a string of Scriptures tied together. The reader should focus on the verses and their relationship to one another. My words between the Scriptures are there for explanation and only the Bible is the final authority and not my words.
The prophets wrote with beautiful harmony about King Messiah. Each prophet gives a part of the picture of the Messiah’s comings and His ministry. When the related Scriptures are linked together, an unmistakable and clear picture comes into focus.
This book gives the reader a comprehensive view of God’s Righteous Servant with a view not clouded by the writings of ancient sages or the traditions of a denomination. This view is simply Bible verses that are related and linked together so the truth is plain for all to see.
Thus, my sincere hope is that everyone who reads this book is grounded in the faith or comes to the conclusion that only Jesus of Nazareth can be Israel’s King Messiah, the holy God of Israel’s Righteous Servant.
